I was recently an inpatient at George Town hospital and I would very much like to nominate nurse Charlie for The DAISY Award. She is one of the most dedicated and compassionate nurses I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. She always treats every patient with competence and understanding. She also has one of the most infectious laughs and loves to share a joke, which always brightened my day. I truly believe healing is easier achieved when you're in a good frame of mind, and thanks to nurses like Charlie and the rest of the nursing team at George Town hospital I was able to have that.
