Daidrie really puts effort into showing that she cares about her staff. She is very approachable and easy to talk to. When she knows there is a problem, she tackles it head-on. She is kind, understanding, and goes above and beyond to help her staff.
Daidrie is a true leader in every way possible. She is kind and compassionate and always so positive.  She is constantly looking out for her team by getting results. She is always going to bat for us! Although delivery volume has been at an all-time low, Daidrie has advocated to remedy this by focusing on patient satisfaction. She has facilitated a king-size postpartum bed, nice patient robes, welcome baskets for the patients, as well as companion meals, all in an effort to improve the overall patient experience and increase our volume. As a result, our delivery volume in April was the highest it has been in 3 years.

Due to this increased volume, staffing is extremely difficult. Daidrie never questions when her team calls her and says they need help. Multiple times in the last month, she has come in in the middle of the night to help her team. Whether scrubbing for a c-section or helping with deliveries and babies, Daidrie doesn’t hesitate to help with patient care whenever needed. Daidrie is constantly advocating for her employees.

Daidrie really puts effort into showing that she cares about her staff. She is very approachable and easy to talk to. When she knows there is a problem, she tackles it head-on. She is kind, understanding, and goes above and beyond to help her staff. When she knows staff are having a bad day, she will seek them out and help talk them through the problem. She is an advocate for her staff as well as the patients. She is consistently showing that she has the back of the nurses she leads.

As a leader, she exemplifies care and understanding both in leadership and patient interactions. She is a great example. I feel so fortunate to have her as a supervisor and friend. I could not imagine working for anyone who is as dedicated or loved, not only by her staff but also by the patients.
