Daisy J George, RN

It was in 2018, when I first met my angel on earth, Daisy. Her compassion was matched by her comprehensive knowledge of my journey, including the physical and emotional challenges I was to experience as a cancer patient. Daisy explained every medication, and when her shift ended, I was comforted in knowing she thoroughly updated the next RN on my condition and how special I was as a person. Daisy managed all of my IV medications as if she was an Air Traffic Controller. When I had a relapse, finding out that Daisy would be caring for me convinced me to move forward with a drug trial. During one hospitalization, I passed out. When I awakened, Daisy was by my side, holding my hand. I’ve experienced my daughter’s college graduation, my son’s high school graduation, and several family vacations while I continue to fight my disease. I’m thankful for the entire team, especially my angel, Daisy.
