Daisy has been a very dedicated, caring, and compassionate nurse at Sick Kids for 30 years. Her attentiveness to patient care and safety in the operating room is exceptional. She strives to make every child feel safe and comforted when undergoing surgery by quickly developing a trusting relationship with patient and families. She is well loved by her co-workers, and especially by her plastic surgery team colleagues of surgeons, anesthetists, and nurses. As she will be retiring at the end of November, her knowledge, expertise, and her loving and caring personality will be greatly missed. We truly cannot think of a more deserving individual than Daisy. She is not only an amazing nurse, but one of the most genuinely sincere and selfless people we know.
