My husband was put into Dakota's care after presenting with pneumonia, fluid in his lungs, and blockages in his bowel. He needed a nasal gastro tube and was on it when he came to her. She was the sweetest and kindest nurse he’s ever had in all his visits to this hospital (over 10). This particular time was touch and go. With good nursing care a very positive and cheerful attitude, he's made a turn for the positive and he is going home tomorrow. What I liked most about Dakota was her happy, smiling face every day and how she explained everything so clearly to our family. She is a devoted nurse and always has time for her patients. I wish she could be nominated for Nurse of the Year; she is that good.
