If you have ever had the pleasure of knowingDale you'll know how compassionate, dedicated, and hard-working she is not only to her patients but to the staff she works with as well. There isn't a single shift she's worked where she hasn't sung to her patients or made them smile with her crazy dance moves. Being a newer nurse, I always feel comfortable going to her as a resource when I need help. She will drop everything to help fellow staff members and you can even count on her during her days off when she will come in as extra to help the unit.
Daleis exceptional when it comes to being an emotional support system for patient family members as well. She has frequently been seen holding hands, embracing during end of life issues, and just being completely empathetic with family when they need it the most. I truly look up to her as the nurse that I wish to be in my career. She's an excellent resource for staff and a gentle soul who will go out of her way to put a smile on your face and leave a lasting impression.
