Delita helped me learn how to properly clean and take care of my tears and made me feel overall empowered by my experience.
This pregnancy was my 1st child after 2 previous miscarriages. I had seen a specialist in Birmingham and was unsure if this baby would even be possible, but he was and is a miracle. I had a tough labor; my epidural didn't take on one side and I was in a ton of pain. I labored for a long 17 hours. Delita was an angel! She coached me and breathed along with me for 2 hours. The doctor had to leave for a bit, and she continued working with me helping me to push. The baby didn't want to come down easily, but with each push Delita rooted and cheered me on. I really don't think I could have pushed him out without Delita's help.
After delivery, she brought me 2 homemade cookies and went all over the hospital to find me a sandwich. Delita helped me learn how to properly clean and take care of my tears and made me feel overall empowered by my experience. She even checked on me a few days later postpartum. Delita is a bright light in the nursing world and an absolute godsend for me. I told Delita to keep doing what she's doing because it's making a difference.
