I truly don’t know what I would have without his calm and supportive attitude.
My mom came into the ER having an active stroke. We were very lucky because they were able to give her a strong blood clot medicine that is very rarely able to be given because it has to be given within the first few hours of the onset of the stroke. The nurse taking care of my mom, Dallas Harbour, was absolutely amazing. He explained everything happening at the moment to help ease my anxiety. He sat with my mom while I went home to get a few of her things before they transferred her to the ICU. When I came back, my mom became unresponsive, and it was Dallas who stood by my side and assured me everything was going to be ok. He explained what was going on, what it meant, and how they were most likely going to handle it. Somehow my mom’s glasses got mixed up with another patient, and it was Dallas who came up to the ICU to make sure he resolved the issue personally. And even then, when he came to make sure my mom got her glasses back, he didn’t go back downstairs before assuring me that my mom was in the best hands and would be ok. I truly don’t know what I would have without his calm and supportive attitude. My mom, who thankfully made a complete recovery, and I are so grateful for Dallas.
