Last spring my husband suffered from gross hematuria due to radiation cystitis. After many trips to the ED and hospitalization, hyperbaric treatments were scheduled. When my husband was no longer able to urinate because of clotting, he was catheterized late one night in the ED. I was to meet the urology resident in hyperbaric that afternoon to learn how to flush the catheter every 24 hours with saline. Since I had no supplies Dan assured I had supplies enough until homecare arrived. He even got permission to come in on the weekend to give my husband his hyperbaric treatments since his condition was so grave.

When my husband would get admitted this special nurse, Dan, came down from the units to continue his treatments. He was always kind and calming with my spouse. Hyperbaric treatments saved my husbands bladder and Dan has the healers touch. This series of treatments would allow us to come early when schedule permitted to address my own health problems while my husband was in the chamber.
