Just one of the many times Dan made me feel comfortable was when he removed the sheath in my groin area and applied pressure. When he no longer could apply the needed pressure to secure clotting, I called him "Whimpy Dan". We laughed and had to call another co-worker for help and the razzing continued. All while still professionally and confidently taking care of me. Dan is an amazing nurse who also addressed my wife by her name personally and showed and explained and answered our questions to over and above our satisfaction. He made us both comfortable.
