May 2017 Honoree
dan tainter, RN
Dan volunteered to sit with a patient in the last two hours of life while the patient's family was not able to be there. He pulled up a chair at the bedside, held the patient's hand and stayed at their side until the patient passed away.
Dan was able to direct his attention in meeting patient care needs while preventing the patient from dying alone. His dedication to meet the needs of this patient and others is greatly appreciated and inspirational for all of us that work with him. He is a tremendous asset to the Critical Care Unit.
