This nurse is warm and caring. Dana goes out of her way to do the extras that I don't see others doing. She went out of her way to tend to every little thing that my husband needed during his stay. She was always close by making sure he turned and was comfortable. She cared for me as well. She is just outstanding.

I was a patient on MICU and this nurse demonstrated all five of the ICARE principles with flying colors. She showed integrity when I spoke about my situation. She listened and understood where I was coming from and didn't judge. She showed a lot of respect for me and my wishes and demonstrated advocacy when she talked to the doctors for me and made them understand what I wanted and why. I feel that Dana always strives for excellence in her job.
