My husband endured 47 days in MSICU before his passing. Dana rearranged her work schedule so she could come in on day shift the next morning, because nobody scheduled to work knew his history. She made sure she was there to take care of him. Dana even shaved him in the manner he wore his beard to make him more comfortable. Dana is compassionate, caring, one of the best nurses in MSICU and so very deserving of this award. Dana was with my husband the night he passed and cried with me.
