Dana was one of my nurses during my recent stay at Wesley Long. I received excellent care from the entire staff, but she seemed to take professionalism and personalization to the next level for me. I did not expect to be hospitalized the week before Christmas (and I have only been hospitalized once before in my 56 years), so I was a bit uptight and emotional about being there. Every time Dana walked into my room, it was like a ray of happy sunshine, instantly lifting my spirits with her bubbly, sweet personality. She seemed to find common interests that we had (Clemson football and our children), and I so enjoyed talking about something other than my medicines, blood numbers, etc. She really helped me mentally deal with my situation in addition to providing the best care that I have ever received. She seemed to anticipate my needs/wants before I even knew that I needed anything. I don't normally write positive reviews, especially five days before Christmas (lots and lots to do), but it is very important to me that I acknowledge the valuable nurse that you have in Dana.
