Dana has treated me for prostate cancer and at one point for quite a long period I was in severe pain. My wife, primary care doctor, and palliative care people were trying to find a doctor to handle my pain pump. Dana jumped in and helped us to find this doctor that could take care of me, which helped a great deal. At the time I also required chemotherapy, but I refused it until Dana took the time and patience to really explain it to me. She explained that doing chemo would help with the pain and it did. Everything about the chemo was as she said. During the chemo treatment she administered to me, she was always very professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. It always seemed like she was moving at great speed, but she was not confused. She always has a smile and a good word, and no matter how fast she moves from patient to patient she always takes time to really listen. She remembers to check things that a patient asks about. She is an example for anyone who deals with people, especially in any medical field.
