Dana Pike, RN

When I arrived at FFH Dana was my first nurse. She was welcoming and really took the time to understand my slurred speaking. She learned about my feeding pump and tube and took it upon herself to educate everyone on that unit. She would sing to me each morning as she entered the room to get vitals. No matter what time it was she stuck her head and made me laugh. When I moved to B53, Dana stayed over her shift to make sure the nurse knew how to feed me almost every night for a week. Dana arranged visits with my older kids through my room window on several occasions. When I was sad, she made sure I laughed and made sure on her days off I was taken care of.
