My sister had an extended hospital stay, and many wonderful people cared for her during that time. There was an urgent late-night surgery, lots of drains, wound vac changes, and more. The one RN who stands out from all the different people who cared for her is Dana. Dana didn't treat my sister like "just another patient." She anticipated her needs, she made helpful suggestions when needed, she often checked on myself and my parents when things were tough. Dana connected with my sister on a human level and advocated for her more times than I can count. I myself am a leader in healthcare, and I like to think my expectations are quite high. It didn't take long for me (and my sister) to trust Dana completely.

Dana, if you get to read this. Thank you. Please know how grateful we are for all that you did for our girl and our family. You are one that we will never forget!
