My husband just passed away at your hospital after only a few days of critical illness. I need to tell you about Nurse Dana Scarmozzino. From the moment she explained to me the seriousness of his condition, until his last breath, she remained with me. In a very caring moment she explained the procedures being used and those treatments that could be put in place. I learned from her about the hospital's use of Morphine as well as the hospice use of it. I felt so confident and comfortable during those final hours. Dana extended her care and took me for coffee and a pleasant chat when his journey had ended. Dana is a true DAISY Nurse.
