I met Nurse Dana when I went to the Infectious Disease clinic to ask questions about a possible toe amputation. After waiting a few minutes I started to cry. As I was walking away from the reception desk Dana was coming out and saw me in tears and said please don't cry and went to get tissue for me. After explaining my concerns, she said I had the right to have my questions answered and went back to check my information. She came back and told me who the doctor was and that she would contact her and have her call me. Dana tried for two days to reach the doctor and she called me both days to provide an update. When she spoke to the doctor, Dana called me and informed me she had spoken to the doctor regarding my concerns. She was committed to helping me find answers. I commend Dana for her integrity, commitment, being an advocate for me and the excellence she displayed in handling my concerns. Thank you, Nurse Dana, for caring.
