Danell Platt, BSN, RN

Ms. Platt is the epitome of a registered nurse. She genuinely cares and supports all her patients. She is professional, knowledgeable, and has the sweetest bedside manner. At one point during my treatment, I began to experience intense itching across my radiation site, and it was quite uncomfortable. She quickly found a way to squeeze me into her schedule and gave me her undivided attention as she tried to help me tackle this reaction. I was stunned by her attention to detail and kindness. She really made me feel like she was in it with me. I wasn't alone, and we were going to fix this problem. I just wanted to ensure Ms. Platt's compassion, optimism, and kindness did not go unnoticed.
