Danelle is an excellent example of someone who always delivers care with compassion and humanity.
Danelle Vaughn works in the GI Clinic where we see veterans in the clinic and also procedures that include Colonoscopies and Upper Endoscopies. I am a coworker of Danelle's and see how compassionate Danelle is Day in and Day out. Danelle's hard work, dedication, and patient-centered care empowers her to leave imprints of positive change because she delivers exceptional care to our veterans. Her motivated approach and attitude are exemplary in securing the best experience for each patient, enabling them to be cared for as a human and not a case. Danelle is an excellent example of someone who always delivers care with compassion and humanity.
Danelle is the lead nurse in caring for the patients treated for HEP C, by continuously keeping the HEP C tracker up to date and speaking with veterans with any concerns. Danelle is also the "SuperUser" for our GI Software system "ProVation" which is used during our GI Procedures. Danelle is invaluable and committed to success which relates to improved patient outcomes. Danelle works both the GI Clinic and GI Procedure clinic in which her attention to detail and hard work are reasons for the success of both areas.
I feel it necessary to mention that Danelle is an exceptional example at work and off work. Danelle is a leader in her church in which she is a youth mentor, bible teacher, and organizer for various events. Danelle and her family traveled to Ecuador for a mission trip to assist with vacation bible school and with the "Hope House", a home for girls/ young ladies who have had a bad home life. Danelle shows constant compassion and kindness as she leaves positive footprints around the veterans, coworkers, and family members around her. Danelle truly impacts the lives she touches. She is an inspiration to us all. Danelle Vaughn should be recognized as an Extraordinary Nurse.
