Danette was recognized by the daughter of a family member who had multiple surgeries over the past year. Each time Danette went above and beyond to make this family and the patient feel comfortable by offering warm blankets to the patient and refreshments to the family. They described her as compassionate, caring, loving, and more than willing to explain everything. They felt her above and beyond effort was not only her actions but the confidence and competence she exuded in her work. Danette allowed the family time with the patient before surgery.
