Compassionate, kind, understanding, reassuring, informative, and attentive are the adjectives to describe Danette Core. Developing blood clots in my lung was unnerving for my family and me. She was very calming and took the time to educate us. She went over the bloodwork in detail and suggested that I have an Iron Workup done. She constantly checked to make sure I was comfortable or if my family needed anything. She was friendly, had a sense of humor, and displayed a high level of professionalism. Danette's clinical skills are above reproach, and we observed several other professionals seeking her advice and guidance. She is, without a doubt, one of the best nurses I have ever encountered. She exemplifies a model of what nursing care is about and highly deserves the DAISY Award.
