In the relatively short time he has been with us, Dan has proven himself to be a great asset to the unit. He exudes kindness and patience with everything he does. Even with the most demanding and challenging of patients and families, Dan remains calm and patient. He goes the extra mile for everyone and that includes his fellow coworkers.

Many times, I have asked Dan to assist me and he never complains and is always willing to help with a smile on his face. He is a true team player, watching out for other nurses' patients, not just his own. When we have a code or when there is just something new to be learned, Dan is one of the first to step up to the challenge. I would like to commend Dan and see that he is recognized in the manner he deserves.

He truly is a DAISY nurse.
