Daniel Anderson is the hardest-working individual I have ever had the pleasure of working with, and that is an understatement, to say the least. He has helped out on the CLC on multiple occasions, even after he has already worked all day in a different department in the VA. He has taken the time to know every veteran we have on the floor, and all the men and women that are up here adore him. They light up when they see that Daniel is working during the day or during the night shift. He has also sat with many of our one-on-one patients and has taken the time to listen to them and learn about their lives. We had a veteran not that long ago become noticeably upset when it was time for Daniel to leave. He makes an impact on each and every one of our veterans on the floor, and he makes a major impact on the workers on the floor. I know he has helped me personally on many occasions and has helped me give the best care possible to each and every veteran. I am truly grateful to have worked with such a selfless nurse as he is. He is truly an asset to the CLC floor, and I hope he knows how much we appreciate all he does for the workers and veterans on this floor.
