Dan is not only a competent nurse; he also handles difficult patient situations with great care and empathy. One night he had an extremely ill patient that he managed with great skill. When the patient's condition deteriorated, he acted quickly by getting the MD to the bedside and activating RRT. When the patient indicated that she wanted to pursue comfort care, he sat with the patient and her husband through the decision-making process and did everything he could to advocate for her. I am extremely impressed with Dan and his dedication to patient care.
