Daniel never gave up fighting for my dad. His gentleness, kindness, and professionalism far exceeded any expectations my family had.
I am writing on behalf of the family of S. We brought my daddy into North Park Hospital just over a month ago, thinking he had a UTI. After several days at North Park, the decision was made to transfer him to the “big Memorial downtown”. From the first day with C to the last day with K, our nurses went far beyond their expected duties. This was one of the hardest times in our lives, and the Memorial staff made it bearable.

I am writing specifically about Daniel. We were entering the final stage, which we did not realize, at that time, and Daniel never gave up fighting for my dad. His gentleness, kindness, and professionalism far exceeded any expectations my family had. He knew we wanted Dad to have the best care possible, and he came through with that. He continually cleaned, nurtured, and was always prompt to respond to every need or request. He even loved and nurtured my mom. That was a big bonus for us. If we needed something for our loved ones or for ourselves, he was right there taking care of our needs.

On the day of my Daddy's passing, everyone gave us our time to grieve and say our goodbyes and passed on their condolences. Each treated us like their own family.

My Dad was always quick to respond to the needs of any and all in our community, his church, loved ones, etc. My Dad deserved to have the same type of care to the end of his life and he got it thanks to Memorial’s staff. Please keep up the great job of staffing the best.
