February 2010 Honoree
daniel hodge, RN
He took the time to walk over to my unit to evaluate my arm. He advised me to call my MD and assisted me in contacting him. I was admitted later that night with a diagnosis of a blood clot. Dan was very encouraging and supportive – without him I might not have been evaluated and treated for the clot as quickly as I did.
Sometimes nurses make lousy patients, but they make the best of friends. With much gratitude.
