Daniel McCrea, RN

I was having complications from my ileostomy. Daniel McCrea was my nurse. His compassion, professionalism, and intuition left a lasting impression. He helped calm me during some very difficult moments and made me feel seen and safe during a chaotic time. I was terrified when I arrived, but Dan met me in the room and immediately walked me through everything with the same calm, thoughtful approach I remembered. He’s one of the only nurses I’ve encountered who truly takes the time to understand the full picture—asking thoughtful, thorough questions that helped me gain a new understanding of my own situation. That conversation was hard, but ultimately transformative. Dan’s dedication, empathy, and bedside manner helped restore a part of me I thought I had lost. Because of him, I’ve rediscovered laughter and lightness in life. He made a bigger impact on me than he may ever realize, and I am forever grateful. He truly saved me in more ways than one.
