Daniel Modes, RN

Daniel is an excellent nurse that I have been lucky to work with since I started working at St. Mary's. Daniel always strives for excellence in his nursing practice and he always goes beyond to help the patients and coworkers. One day before work Dan happened to pull into the parking lot shortly after I did. Dan quickly exited his car and told me there was a bad accident at the intersection of Five and Levan. As we approached the intersection we saw two cars that were involved in the accident. Dan quickly mentioned that there were still two people in one of the cars and rushed to go and make sure they were alright. The passengers, an elderly couple, were clearly shaken up by what had happened. After ensuring EMS was called, Dan quickly assessed the passengers and ensured them that help was on the way. Dan's calming and professional manner quickly put the passengers at ease. Dan stayed with the passengers of the car until EMS arrived on the scene. The way Dan handled himself made me proud to call him my co-worker and St. Mary's is lucky to have such an excellent and compassionate nurse.
