Daniel O Staples, RN
Dan always shows up for work with a happy to help attitude. Dan is a charge RN, Teacher, Transporter, Housekeeper, IT, and IV man. He is always so eager to stop and educate with patience, even when I was a tech, he took the time to invest in me and my education. Dan is always happy to help, he brings comedic relief to stressful situations, and he ALWAYS puts patient care above ALL things; and he's been doing it for 30+ years.

Dan is always going above and beyond to make sure the staff and patient needs are met. Dan's first day back from surgery and he has not skipped a beat. He is a great employee, co-worker, and nurse. I am grateful to work alongside him and learn from his many years of experience.

Dan is one of the best nurses Baylor has. He is always willing to help anyone on the floor. If he hears a bed alarm or an IV he is the first one in the room. He always makes sure everyone is doing okay before he takes time for himself. I think everyone can learn from him because of all the experience he has. We all enjoy hearing his stories, and the jokes that he tells. Dan is a total team player and has helped to make us a successful unit.
