On a regular basis, I receive glowing feedback about Danny from patients and families. He stands out on all fronts.
The son of the patient received a letter from his father. In the letter, the patient communicated that he was done and did not want to continue. The son was devastated. The son showed Danny the letter. Danny read the letter, looked at the patient and said, "We are not there yet". Danny then tore the letter into pieces and tossed it in the trash bin. This act sent a strong message to both the patient and the family. This act gave the patient a new sense of purpose. He stayed engaged and participated in his recovery. This act similarly strengthened the family's confidence that their father would make a full recovery.
Clinically, Danny is highly competent. He provides compassionate care and displays the values of Caring, Integrity, Respect, and Advocacy on a daily basis.
