Daniel Roderick, MSN, RN, CNL, CPEN

Daniel is my direct manager. He is always available to help me out when I have encountered hard times and when work/life balance has been complicated. He helped me apply for the reimbursement program through Rady Children's. He sent out an email to everyone after the strike months and was open to checking in with staff to have coffee or snack and talk about how we were doing or what we needed. During strike time, too, he was running around on the unit helping out. Multiple times I have seen him jump in and help on the unit. On a specific occasion, I had a patient elope from one of my rooms. Daniel went above and beyond, chased my patient to the parking lot, and he was able to speak to this patient and his parents. I admire Daniel, he is hard working, compassionate towards his staff and also, he is very down to earth and easy to talk to as manager. Thank you, Daniel!
