Dan Ryan leads from his heart. He has the courage to offer suggestions to staff for self-improvement and has a way to rally his staff toward common purpose and goals. His level of compassion shown to families, patients and staff is very apparent. He is patient, kind and very "gentle" yet effective in his approach to tough situations and very supportive of his staff when they are in need of help; he has come in when off duty on the weekends just to help them when needed and role models the behaviors that he expects from staff. He shares results and accomplishments with the staff and displays those in various ways that show.
