Daniela came in on a day off to coordinate a 1st birthday party for a child in our unit. She brought in party decorations, gifts, and an outfit for this child. She also surprised this child with a smash cake (while trying to keep it from getting all over the child's VAD). She was able to take photos on a disposable camera for the family who could not attend. I appreciate Daniela's enduring desire to make a positive impact in the life of every patient she cares for. She is a bright light!
