Daniella is very passionate about the work that she does. She displayed great professionalism, compassion, and empathy for us patients, as well as our families. Recently my mother broke her hip and was taken by paramedics to LAC+USC Medical Center. Given that this hospital is a county hospital we were reluctant and considered transferring my mom to UCLA. However, Daniella was so kind, communicative and attentive that we decided against the transfer. Daniella's bedside manner was superb. My mom was a nurse for about 60 years and she was extremely comfortable with Daniella. LAC+USC Medical Center and the patients on 6D are very lucky to have her as a nurse.

Daniella is the epitome of a Professional Registered Nurse. She connects with her patients professionally, personally and spiritually. Daniella does not impart "off the cuff" information but verifies it with facts due to research. She speaks to her patients and their families on a level that they understand and welcome. Her good humor is visible and present at all times. She is wonderful professionally as well as personally. I am a retired nurse and I am very proud to call Registered Nursing my beloved Profession. If all nursing personnel had the knowledge, caring, respect, and attitude of Daniella, we (nurses) would be carrying the Torch of Caring to the Olympics.

My mother-in-law fell and fractured her left hip. She's 81 years old and this was a traumatic experience for her. She spent 2 days in the hospital before having her surgery. She spent these days in excruciating pain. This is where Daniella's caring and warmth made her feel less vulnerable. As well as, that there was someone really there to give her the best care possible. Daniella was always patient and eager to help my mother-in-law and make her as comfortable as she could be under the circumstances. Daniella always had a smile when she went into the room and her professionalism was second to none. Daniella, as young as she is, is a great role model for other staff and while she took care of my mother-in-law made a great difference while she spent time recovering.
