Daniella was doing a call to a patient who said they had suicidal ideations. She stayed on the phone with them for 20 minutes, called 911, and waited on the phone until EMS and the Police Department showed up and the patient was taken to the ED for care and treatment. Talk about going above and beyond and possibly saving someone’s life. I echo the message below… a huge Thank You for going above and beyond, caring for our patients where they are, and ensuring they remain safe and healthy.

We heard this morning about your call to a patient that recognized the patient was potentially suicidal, and that you alerted emergency services and stayed on the line with the patient to ensure safety.
