I want to preface my message by saying the entire team I had when giving birth to my daughter was absolutely incredible. I was in active labor and crying while getting my epidural. Daniella was holding my hand, comforting me, and wiping my tears. I was going through what I consider the hardest, most painful moment of my life, and here is this sweet, incredible woman comforting me.

Once the epidural was done, Daniella fixed my hair and was hyping me up. This was way beyond her job, and in those moments I didn't feel as scared. It didn't feel like just a nurse by my side; it was as if I had a sister caring for me. I've only ever had my mom and sister take care of me in that way. I will forever be grateful for her, her kindness and compassion, and would love to personally give her my thanks and appreciation. Birth is the most intimate, humbling experience, and having her by my side was more than I could have asked for. What a wonderful person to have on your team. I know it's been a few months, but I don't want to let this go by without her being recognized.
