Danielle Busta 2, MSN, BSN, RN, CPON, BMTCN

Danielle is an amazing clinical instructor for the U of I College of Nursing. She has students for their peds rotation on L1O. Danielle does a great job engaging with her students and helping them be involved on the unit, not just with their assigned patients but help with everyone. Last week, Danielle and her students promised a complex patient a bath, but they ran out of time and weren't able to complete it before the end of the day. Danielle stayed late after the end time of her clinical day to help bathe this patient and get her cleaned up, including helping with her trach cares. This effort to go above and beyond is just one reason how Danielle continues to be a shining ray for our nurses, patients, and also our future nurses too. She sets a great example of what it means to be a great pediatric nurse!
