She is kind, attentive, and friendly, and she is always smiling even when she has a rough day.
Danielle Casab is the perfect nurse. She is kind, attentive, and friendly, and she is always smiling even when she has a rough day. Anything I ask for, she has gotten me promptly, and I haven't had to wait. She makes a bad situation seem not so bad. She is very reassuring and so upbeat. I wish all nurses were like her. This young woman is an asset to this hospital. She makes me feel connected. What more could I ask for? She listened to all my stories and made me feel like a friend. She listened to my story about my son passing away and comforted me as I was tearful. I have never met such a wonderful and joyful person. Everything she does is above and beyond. She is the best, most perfect nurse I have ever had. She is 100% professional yet kind at the same time. She spent time with me explaining my diagnosis, which was so scary and put my mind at ease. She made my scary times less scary, and that's all I could ask for. She listened to all my stories. Compassion? Yes, 100%. That means a lot to people who are bedridden and helpless. That is a true nurse. She always took my best interest to heart. She is very lovable, and I look up to her as a person and nurse.

I was admitted to the hospital for dizziness, tightness, and pressure in my chest. Within hours, it was determined that my heart was stopping/pausing. The cause was a mystery. Further testing (heart catheterization) found three blockages, two very serious, in an area described as the "WidowMaker." However, the blockages were not the cause of the pauses. All of this led to a very high level of concern and downright fear. Much of the nursing staff was concerned as well, frequently checking on me. A few really stood out. Especially Danielle! She answered the many questions I had and maintained a wonderful smile and bedside manner. She was a breath of fresh air and really helped calm me and my fears. When I had to move about (In the bathroom, a walk, or to a chair), she not only assisted me but made sure my backside was properly covered so as to maintain my dignity and not cause embarrassment. During my stay, I heard an interaction she had with another patient or family member in the hallway. The person was raising their voice and was quite upset (to me, it sounded like they were nervous about someone's ailment). I was amazed at how calm Danielle stayed. She was reassuring and maintained a positive attitude. After a few minutes, the person calmed down and even thanked her. Wow! What a great job! She was gentle and caring when caring for me. She conducted herself very professionally and truly made a huge difference! She touched my heart forever! I guess she helped my heart in a couple of ways. I am so glad she chose this career! May God Bless her path throughout!
