Danielle consistently surprises me with her dedication to the team. As clinical supervisor, she does not hesitate to cover shifts when they are short or step in to help staff no matter the task. She embodies the team approach (Ground rule #2) to everything as well as Ground rule #5 (That’s not my job isn’t acceptable) and #6 (Manage up). While there are many incidents she could be submitted for, she does them without seeking attention and flies under the radar most days. Today I saw her borrow a mop from EVS to mop a patient's room after a family member spilled a soda. She knew EVS was tied up, she knew there was a need, and she knew the nurse was busy. She acted with compassion and a sense of urgency for the most minor thing. She leads by example and I am proud to work with her.
