My father was admitted back to the hospital. His health was very poor and ended up in palliative care. I was allowed to come in to spend the day with him and was actually there when he passed around 11:30 pm. Danielle was the nurse on the dayshift that day. She was so caring, to both my dad and to me and my husband. She knew my dad was terminal and would most likely pass that night, but yet she cared for him just like he would get up and walk out healthy. She took the time to talk with me about my dad and when she finished her shift, she spoke so kindly to us.
