During the patient's course of stay, Danielle personally comforted the patient's mother during one of the hardest times of this mother's life. She took the time to listen and be there for her. This act of kindness moved the mother to tears. In this moment, the patient's mother did not see Danielle as her son's nurse but as a daughter, a sister or her best friend. Danielle touched this mother's heart in the darkest moment of her life. The patient's mother commented that Danielle truly was an angel without wings during this time.
