Danielle Fortino, RN
Danielle is always going above and beyond for our patients as if they are part of her family. I have witnessed her run down to the cafeteria to buy a patient a sandwich as their last meal before their open-heart surgery the next day. Recently, a patient’s only mode of transport was a bus. The doctor did not think that sending the patient on a bus was a good idea. Danielle ordered an Uber for the patient and paid for the ride with her own money. The patient was so grateful. She is selfless and incredibly caring. She truly cares for each patient as if they were her family. I am so proud to work next to her each day.
