Danielle Kettlewell, BSN, RN

We have a patient who needed a blood transfusion. The department was able to get her in the next day, which was unheard of, but the patient couldn’t find a ride. Instead of sending her to the emergency room, Danielle Kettlewell decided to use her break time to pick the patient up at her home and bring her to her infusion. She then proceeded to wait until almost 6:30 pm for the patient to be finished to drive her home even though her shift ended at 3:30 pm and she lives over an hour away. She sat in the parking lot for three hours to wait for the patient to be done to drive her home. Danielle has a huge heart and always goes above and beyond for all our patients. She is not only a good nurse, she has a passion for what she does.
