Danielle Lavanga, RN, BSN

Danielle is more than just a nurse. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a cape under her scrubs, because in my eyes, she is a superhero. I have spent the past 40 weeks receiving cancer treatment, with Danielle being my primary nurse during that time. My treatment carried many hardships. As a healthcare provider myself, being on the other side of the bedside was an immense adjustment to take on. Danielle not only provided physical care to me, but also helped my husband and me mentally during what was the darkest time of our lives. Treatment became less of a burden; we actually looked forward to the normalcy Danielle made us feel each week in clinic. Danielle continues to ensure I get the care I need and deserve - she serves as my biggest advocate, and for that I am forever grateful. She constantly advocates for her patients, ensuring their care is seamless. Danielle deserves recognition for the unrelenting care and dedication she has for her job and her patients.
