I received emergency surgery on my brain to relieve bleeding. The end result of my surgery was a lot of tubes coming out of me, confusion, and a rat's nest of dried blood-clotted hair.
One of the first people I remember is Danielle. She sat beside me, held my hand, and reminded me of what had happened to me.
Danielle also took it upon herself to bring in dry shampoo and conditioner from home and gently brushed my hair out. Through careful work, she was able to get it into two braids.
Those braids have been a lifesaver...making me look stylish and feel better about myself, and not look like a mess to my husband and son, and saved me pain and discomfort.
Everyone here at Evergreen has treated me great. Danielle went above and beyond though, I am not sure I will get to see her again, so this is my way of saying thanks a million million. Danielle, U R the best!
