I am a physician assistant. My nurse is Danielle. I have worked with her for a few years now, and she has been the best nurse that I have ever worked with. Every patient loves her; she has such kindness, empathy, and nurturing ability with the patients. They might come in angry, in significant pain, or sad, and after seeing and being cared for by her, they leave happy and smiling. She is knowledgeable in all fields of nursing, and she is an expert with the computer/EPIC. She knows medications, she knows treatments. If there are ever any procedures that I need help with, she is there and has all the equipment and medications ready to use. She takes care of the patients efficiently, happily, and cheerfully, and brings joy to the clinic. She is efficient and always keeps the organization, staff, and our patients at the top of her actions and priorities. She balances all of her duties well. Danielle is honest and has great integrity, and I trust her fully. Since I have learned of the DAISY Award and what it represents, I know that she deserves this prestigious award. There are so many examples of her dedication and expert patient care that I can’t name them. She has so many talents that magnify my abilities to care for others and improve the overall well-being of 1000's of our patients. Thank you, Danielle!
