Danielle was my nurse while I was getting a biopsy done. Everything was going fine but as the doctor was stitching me up, I began to feel faint and nauseous. Danielle was so kind and patient and did everything she could to help me feel better, including holding an ice pack on my neck and bringing me water/juice. She was very sweet and made sure to stay with me until I felt better. She did not rush me whatsoever. I am so glad she was there that day to help me. I am normally someone who does ok with needles, so I felt a bit silly for my reaction, but she helped me feel calm and cared for. She is the perfect example of a compassionate, patient-centered nurse and Hennepin is lucky to have her!
