December 2011 Honoree
danielle phillips, RN
On Sunday, October 30, Danielle was a ‘floater’ to 5-East to work. She was covering a nurse’s team while at lunch. During that time the patient developed chest pain. Danielle went into action and called a rapid response. As the surgical team is not keyed into chest pain, it was Danielle’s quick assessment that got things rolling and resulted in the patient going to the Cath Lab and surviving.
